Greetings all!
To get things rolling, I am a 18-year old male who aspires to be a professional photographer. I have never taken any classes on photography at all and I have taught myself most of what I know. However, I feel that I have what it takes to be one of the best out there, however naive that may sound. For this very first posting, I am showing my entire portfolio for all of you to see what I am made of. What you may not know is that all of the pictures in my portfolio were taken with a simple point-and-shoot camera. I do not own a SLR camera, but my camera does have manual settings which is nice, however having a camera that has an interchangeable lens and can shoot in RAW format would be ideal. Currently I am in hopes that Olympus will sponsor me, and I have a good feeling too that I will get the sponsorship (knock on wood). Anyway, here is what I sent them, I hope you like it just as much as I hope the good people at Olympus do!

Hey Ryan, awesome pictures!! Looks like you have a real talent. Matt has a really nice Canon Rebel, barely used, we could possibly hook you up with. I also have an old Minolta of my Dad's with several lenses. Both are beautiful cameras. Maybe we could barter a little babysitting for a camera next time we're in town.
